A sparkling clean pool can be yours in just 15 minutes a week!

Swimming pool owners love their pools – except when it comes to maintenance. Unfortunately, irregularly maintained swimming pools quickly become unsanitary, out-of-balance algae-havens. Then pool owners suffer the aggravation of investing considerable time and money reestablishing the balance and sanitary conditions so they can use their swimming pools again. But there is a better way. You can have a perfectly clean swimming pool in just 15 minutes per week!

Instead of waiting until the need for maintenance is obvious from the look of your swimming pool, put pool maintenance on your calendar every week. You drag the garbage cans to the curb once or twice a week, right? Maintaining your swimming pool is no different – a few minutes, every single week, can save you hours of work all at once, not to mention the expense. Since an unbalanced swimming pool isn’t immediately obvious, spending 15 minutes per week on pool maintenance will also contribute to your family’s health and wellbeing, as well as their enjoyment of the pool.

Remember, by the time algae and the effects of bacteria show up in your pool, it has been an unhealthy environment for some time. So save yourself the stress and expense of an unsanitary, unbalanced pool with these three simple steps to a sparkling pool.

Step One: Use Chlorine Tablets in an Automatic Pool Chlorinator

Buy the strongest (99% active ingredient, 90% available chlorine), freshest three-inch chlorinating tablets you can find. When pool chlorine tablets dissolve, they maintain the proper free available chlorine levels for keeping your pool healthy. Ensuring that the tablets you purchase are fresh will ensure that they dissolve slowly but completely. Also, look for individually wrapped chlorine tablets that are UV protected. Simply place one or two chlorine tablets in your automatic pool chlorinator on the same day each week.

Step Two: “Shock” Your Pool Once a Week with Pool Super Shock

Swimming pool shock sanitizes your pool by killing bacteria, controlling algae, and eliminating organic contaminants, resulting in crystal-clear pool water.  Select an extra-powerful pool shock that dissolves quickly and is safe and easy to use.  Shock your pool on the same day each week.

Step Three: Add a Dose of All-In-One Algaecide to Your Pool 24 Hours after Shocking

Algaecide prevents and kills black, yellow/mustard and green algae while acting as a water clarifier so your pool will look beautiful for your family’s use, as well as when you entertain guests in your home. Look for an all-in-one algaecide that can be used without closing your swimming pool.

That’s it! Spend just 15 minutes a week on your pool and it will stay clean and algae free for your entire family to enjoy.
